We are a small professional tree care company based in Waterbeach and cover Cambridgeshire, Essex, North Hertfordshire and parts of Suffolk. We provide a comprehensive range of garden services for homeowners, landowners and estate management companies. We offer all aspects of tree work, including pruning, removal, replanting, and stump grinding.  Our professional and caring team can safely dismantle trees in all situations from open fields to small gardens with potential obstacles such as sheds, greenhouses and flowerbeds. Between us we have many years experience and expertise, updating our qualifications and knowledge regularly through industry training. Ben Hudson started the company twenty years ago and has built a reputation through word of mouth and personal recommendations as well as training young arborists. As a company we have a strong commitment to environmentally friendly options including using low-emission battery equipment instead of petrol; recycling or reusing every part of the trees we work on; working in line with conservation guidelines and promoting biodiversity by advising on native species. We have undertaken many long-term planting programmes with charities such as The Woodland Trust and Community Service Volunteers. We always undertake habitat assessments prior to starting work to protect bats and nesting birds. We use our knowledge of when to best to work on certain trees and can offer advice as appropriate and schedule work to optimise tree health. Most of our work is to preserve trees, maintaining them as healthy living organisms.

 

We regularly deal with protected trees and can offer advice and can deal with planning applications for trees with Tree Protection Orders (TPOs) or in Conservation Areas. We can take responsibility for all third party negotiations including utility services and traffic management.
