ABOUT US
Hudson Timber has many years experience carrying out tree work for private, commercial and agricultural clients including parish councils, schools, building contractors and estate management companies.

We are a tree surgery company not a timber merchant but we do always have a good stock of wood for sale – both milled planks and firewood.​
OUR SERVICES
We regularly deal with protected trees and can offer advice and can deal with planning applications for trees with Tree Protection Orders (TPOs) or in Conservation Areas.

STUMP GRINDING
We can remove stumps of all sizes to enable replanting of an area.
We offer bespoke arboricultural surveys for domestic customers to provide vital information about the health and safety of trees in your garden. This may be required if you have recently purchased a property.
FIREWOOD
We offer seasoned firewood delivered in convenient tonne bags in and around Cambridge from October till March while stocks last.
GARDEN MAINTENANCE
We can help with garden maintenance and clearance, including hedge and shrub pruning and trimming and can offer planting and design advice (RHS qualified).
HEDGES
We can help maintain garden hedges with one off tidies or regular programmes of work and also have the equipment to undertake large scale hedge work for estate management companies or landowners.

CHARITY WORK
Each year Hudson Timber raise money for a nominated charity. These tend to be local to us in Cambridge or where we have a personal connection
Instead of attractive wood (potentially from a special beloved tree) being processed as firewood, our sawmill enables us to offer a unique service where we can plank wood from trees in your garden to give it a second life.
