Sometimes trees have to be removed if they have died or are dangerous or just in the wrong place. Instead of attractive wood (potentially from a special beloved tree) being processed as firewood, our sawmill enables us to offer a unique service where we can plank wood from trees in your garden to give it a second life. We can produce planks for construction or DIY projects. We have produced planks for floorboards, kitchen worktops, doorposts, bar tops, table tops as well as using smaller pieces for woodturners to make into beautiful bowls. Ben can also transform these planks into tables, benches, stools or seats for your outside space, for your dining room or kitchen, as well as items of tableware and homeware such as chopping boards, platters, cake stands for weddings and parties.
